We've packed so much into just 3 months that it's hard to remember everything we did when I didn't take photos to accompany the memories. But some of the best days we've had this summer have been spent with the Lopers just hanging out and enjoying good food, good time on the water, and great conversation. Marisa and I enjoy trying new recipes and sipping sangria on their back porch over meaninful chats, while Eric and Tyrel can often be found riding bikes downhill and doing backflips off of a homemade ramp Eric built…into the lake. We joke that their friendship is going to earn them multiple trips to the ER.
They have been married 9 years this month (Happy Anniversary guys!) and have the most adorable little boy – Kiah. Ty and I are absolutely in love with this little dude. He is the most laid-back kiddo ever. I attribute this to his parents!
Enjoying some time on the water.

She makes it look easy.
Tyrel getting some air on the wakeboard.
Over Labor Day weekend we had all planned on going camping somewhere, but by the time we went to reserve spots, a lot of the good ones within a decent driving distance were taken. But we didn't let that stop us! Instead, we camped in their backyard!
And built a bonfire and made s'mores.
I highly recommend replacing the Hershey's bar in your s'more with a Reese's peanut butter cup. It is quite delicious.
The guys getting the fire going…
Marisa really excited about s'mores!
Ty really excited about s'mores!
Ty observing photo above and determining that Lana's face wasn't expressing enough excitement about s'mores…
So here's my enhanced excitement face! Haha
It's been a great summer so far! It's not over yet though. But this concludes my Chronicles of Summer series for now. I hope you're all enjoying your summers as well!
Here's to sunshine, vitamin D, and tan lines.
